NTA has submitted an affidavit in the apex court where it also noted that distribution of marks is quite normal.

Centre and NTA said the apex court that cancellation of exam will make it 'counterproductive' and 'seriously jeopardise' the future of honest candidates.

Reports reveal that the leaked exam papers were being sold for prices ranging from ₹5,000 to ₹10,000.

The protest, led by members of the Samajwadi Chhatra Sangh and National Students' Union of India (NSUI), took place outside Lucknow University’s Bhaurao Deoras Dwar.

"It has been ascertained from NTA's security protocols and Standard Operating Procedures that the social media posts pointing towards any paper leak are completely baseless and without any ground, said the NTA.
