"An inquiry to investigate the incident has been ordered," it added. 

"The trial landing exercise has been completed successfully. Two transport aircraft, AN-32 and Dornier, landed," Jindal stated.

On Wednesday, Sports Minister Anurag Thakur revealed that medalists from the Khelo India Games, including the Youth, University, Para, and Winter Games, would now qualify for government employment based on revised criteria. 

"Normally, suppose I fail to lead my party, neither the party people will keep trying to launch me again and spoil their precious time nor I, myself, will try to waste the precious time of my colleagues," he added.
