In a recent turn of events, Madhya Pradesh Congress MLA Veer Singh Bhuria finds himself in hot water after making inflammatory remarks during a campaign rally for his party's candidate in the Ratlam-Jhabua Lok Sabha seat. The legislator, representing the Thandla assembly constituency, allegedly urged his supporters to "chop off" the hands of those advocating vote division during the upcoming Lok Sabha polls in Jhabua district.

The court had, on March 11, issued a bailable warrant of Rs 10,000 against Thakur, who is an accused in the September 2008 Malegaon bomb blasts case, for failing to appear before it despite repeated warnings.
