The Ministry of Women and Child Development has introduced a groundbreaking initiative aimed at enhancing early childhood care and education in India. With the launch of a national curriculum for children aged three to six years and a framework for early childhood stimulation for those from birth to three years, the ministry seeks to revolutionize the country's Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) landscape.

Representatives from various ministries including Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, and Ministry of Education, along with industry organizations such as Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), and UN agencies UNICEF, UN Women, and ILO were also in attendance
