In preparation for the Lok Sabha elections, the Delhi Metro will begin services at 4 AM on May 25. This early start is intended to assist election staff in reaching their duty locations. For the first two hours, until 6 AM, trains will operate every 30 minutes.

The total project cost of the two corridors is estimated at ₹ 8,399 crore, which will be sourced from the Union and Delhi governments, and international funding agencies.
