The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered an FIR against Megha Engineering and Infrastructure Ltd, based in Hyderabad, which is the second-largest purchaser of electoral bonds worth Rs 966 crore, in connection with an alleged bribery case.

Megha Engineering and Infrastructure Ltd, headquartered in Hyderabad and the second-largest purchaser of electoral bonds, contributed the highest sum, approximately Rs 586 crore, to the BJP.

Future Gaming and Hotel Services, led by Martin Santiago, known as the 'Lottery King', has acquired 1,208 bonds totaling Rs 1,208 crore. With an annual turnover of Rs 7,000 crore, the company has been under investigation for suspected money laundering.
