The rare setback notwithstanding, Bopanna and Ebden have enjoyed a good run on the circuit, winning the Indian Wells Masters last year which made the 43-year-old Indian the oldest ever ATP Masters 1000 champion.

Indian tennis star Rohan Bopanna and his Australian partner Matthew Ebden nade their way into the men's doubles final of the Miami Open with a straight-set win over the Spanish-Argentinian duo of Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos.
