Responding to activist Manoj Jarange's request for Kunbi caste certificates for Marathas to access OBC quotas, the government stated that Marathas who can provide records identifying them or their ancestors as Kunbi-Marathas will be eligible for such certificates.  

The MNS chief further said that the party will decide its strategy for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls later, and he would share more thoughts about it during the party's Gudi Padwa meeting on April 9. 

The statement of Jarange came after the state CM warned him not to test the government's patience after the activist made some allegations about the deputy chief minister.
