While the yatra succeeded in drawing crowds and generating enthusiasm in certain well-chosen pockets, its actual impact on ground-level mobilisation and party organisation remains in contention.

Gandhi will undertake a 'Nyay Sankalp Padyatra' from Mani Bhavan to August Kranti Maidan in Mumbai on Sunday morning.  

The Opposition party at a press conference here had said that the BJP government in Manipur had declined permission for starting the yatra from the Hapta Kangjeibung ground (Palace grounds) in Imphal.
