Karunanidhi’s son and chief minister MK Stalin remembrance of the Dravidian stalwart on his sixth death anniversary, after paying floral tributes to a decorated portrait of his father at the Omandurar Government Estate, where a statue of the leader is installed.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi honoured the memory of DMK stalwart M Karunanidhi on what would have been his 100th birthday. Karunanidhi, affectionately known as Kalaignar, served as the chief minister of Tamil Nadu for nearly two decades across five terms, from 1969 to 2011. He left a lasting impact on the state and its people through his dedicated service and leadership.
