Voting is currently underway for the biennial elections to six seats in the Karnataka Legislative Council, specifically from the teachers' and graduates' constituencies.

As expected, the Congress has fielded Karnataka Science and Technology Minister NS Boseraju and Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s son Dr Yathindra Siddaramaiah.

Karnataka Legislative Council elections will be held in the first week of June for six MLCs elected by teachers and graduates, while the second is on June 13 for 11 seats elected by members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs).
