A long-standing problem regarding inter-state water dispute between Tamil Nadu and Karnataka ignites with the appointment of new MoS.

According to the BJP's state unit, Modi will address four rallies in North Karnataka region in Belagavi, Uttara Kannada, Devanagere and Ballari on Sunday. On Monday, The Prime Minister will attend a public meeting in Bagalkote.

"Whatever the reasons behind this drought relief, I would like to thank the Central government for the relief provided. I urge Prime Minister Narendra Modi to release the balance relief funds as soon as possible," he added. 

The National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC) has raised concerns over the Karnataka government's decision to include the entire Muslim community in the OBC category, stating that it is unjust to the existing OBC communities.

According to the complaint, the caption of the said message reads as “BJP-Election Bonus” and it claims that the party is officially offering Rs 5,000 and more bonus to each who answers the four questions asked in the questionnaire. Further, the same shows photo of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and each photo claims that it is of the year 2014, 2019 and 2024.

“Income Tax department conducts raids; are rich people who have amassed wealth through illegal means, only in opposition parties? Is there no one in the BJP? They (BJP) are the ‘Pitamaha’ of corruption,” Siddaramaiah said.

A day after indicating unhappiness over the seat sharing issue with BJP for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls in Karnataka, JD(S) leader H D Kumaraswamy on Tuesday said it did not mean that there is a trust deficit between the two parties.

Besides targeting the Congress on ‘Shakti’ remark during the conclusion of Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Mumbai, PM Modi called out the state government for plundering people’s wealth.
