The Patiala House Court of Delhi has granted an additional 10 days to the Delhi Police to conclude its investigation into the case against Prabir Purkayastha, the founder and Editor-in-Chief, and Amit Chakravarty, HR Head of the news portal NewsClick.

A total of 44 individuals were honoured for their outstanding work across print, digital, and broadcast media during this two-year period.

Spearheaded and supported by News Arena India, the festival provided a platform for dynamic interactions between aspiring journalists and seasoned professionals, bridging the gap between literature enthusiasts and the guardians of democracy.

“The prevailing laws would be amended and new laws would be formulated as per the spirit of federalism,” she said.
