The Congress party in Madhya Pradesh has decided to adopt a more aggressive stance against the BJP government following its defeat in the recent Lok Sabha elections. This decision was made during the State Political Affairs Committee meeting held in Bhopal, chaired by Bhanwar Jitendra Singh, the Madhya Pradesh Congress In-Charge.

Madhya Pradesh Congress chief Jitu Patwari made an appeal on Monday to voters in the Indore Lok Sabha constituency, urging them to choose the None of the Above (NOTA) option following the withdrawal of the party's candidate, Akshay Kanti Bam.

Polling kicked off early Monday morning for eight Lok Sabha seats in Madhya Pradesh, marking the fourth and final phase of the general elections in the state.

The challenge comes in response to former minister Narottam Mishra's assertion on Saturday, stating that over 2.58 lakh individuals, with 1.26 lakh joining on April 6 alone, have switched allegiance to the BJP in the state over the past three months, with the majority originating from the Congress.
