Hearing the case, the bench of Acting Chief Justice S Chandrashekhar and Justice Navneet Kumar asked the state government to submit a detailed action taken report containing all the statistics of the case. 

The tourist and her husband left for Nepal Bihar escorted by police to continue their journey on Tuesday.

While acknowledging the trauma of the attack, she stressed that it was an isolated incident and that the vast majority of Indians had treated them with kindness and hospitality.
