A long-standing problem regarding inter-state water dispute between Tamil Nadu and Karnataka ignites with the appointment of new MoS.

"At least 10% of the blocks have reverse the trend of groundwater depletion in the last 1 year since Energy can be generated but water cannot be produced so we need to focus on learning from our failures &sharing best practices on saving and it's judicious management", said Minister of Jal Shakti, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat
