China has raised objections over Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent visit to Arunachal Pradesh, reiterating its claim over the region and warning that India's actions will complicate the boundary question further.

The joint investigation team (JIT) will look into the relevant people who have trolled government officials and the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) functionaries and “identify and prosecute the culprits” under the relevant laws. 

Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to visit Jammu on February 20th for the inauguration and foundation laying of various projects. He will also address a public gathering.

The residents of the area where the ceasefire violation took place said it was after a gap of more than a decade that they witnessed cross-border firing, which triggered panic among them.
