In Maharashtra, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen chief Asaduddin Owaisi has pointed out that while all political parties seek Muslim votes during the Lok Sabha elections, none of them have fielded candidates from the Muslim community.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah stirred political waves on Tuesday during a rally in Maharashtra's Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, taking aim at the All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) and asserting the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) ambitions for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
