The initiative, conducted in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), are expected to inject an additional 20–30 million litres per day (MLD) of water into the system.

The collaboration between Nokia and IISc will be based at Nokia's newly inaugurated 6G Lab in Bengaluru, marking a significant milestone in India's journey towards embracing next-generation communication technologies. The research will focus on three pivotal areas: 6G radio technologies, 6G architecture, and the integration of machine learning into the 6G air interface.
