Former MLA Mohd. Moquim appealed to all district presidents of Congress to participate in the agitation programme on August 22.

The move comes in response to Hindenburg Research’s August 10 allegations, which claim that SEBI Chairperson Madhabi Puri Buch and her husband, Dhaval Buch, were linked to offshore funds implicated in the Adani money siphoning scandal.

In a video message released on X, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi demanded Sebi chief's resignation and pressed for a Joint Parliamentary Committee investigation into the alleged scandal.
