The latest entrants include Krishan Kamboj, son of former MLA Shri Ramchandra from Rania (Sirsa), and Mohit Grover, former district head and state general secretary of the Jannayak Janta Party (JJP).

Hooda slammed the BJP for its unfulfilled promises, including implementation of the Swaminathan report, doubling farmers' income, employment for all, and pucca houses for all, which were made in 2014.

"The results of the Lok Sabha elections have shown that the Congress is the strongest party in the state. 42 former MLAs, former ministers, MPs, and former MPs from other parties, including the BJP, have joined the Congress. Three independent MLAs supporting the government have also supported the Congress in the Lok Sabha elections," he said.

Upset over her daughter being denied the Bhiwani-Mahendergarh Lok Sabha seat, Kiran Chaudhary reportedly boycotted campaigning for Congress's Rao Dan Singh, who lost to BJP's Dharambir Singh by 41,510 votes.

On being asked about the forthcoming 2024 assembly elections, Hooda confidently said, "The main contest is between Congress and BJP, the remaining parties, including JJP, are contesting with NOTA".

Priyanka predicted the win of Congress on all 10 Lok Sabha seats in Haryana, and that too with a huge margin. 

While the Congress is contesting on nine seats, its INDIA bloc ally AAP has fielded its candidate from the Kurukshetra constituency.

The policy has been approved for one year starting from June 12.

"Generally after a trust vote has been won, a floor test is not needed within six months. However, if the governor sahib gives such a direction, then we will prove (our majority)," Pal said.

"It is evident that the BJP govt in Haryana no longer commands a majority," former Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala said in his letter to the governor on Wednesday. 

Congress is demanding to impose 'President's Rule' followed by fresh polls, and JJP is all set to join hands with the Congress if it decides to bring down the BJP administration in Haryana, said party head Dushyant Chautala on Wednesday. 

Sombir Sangwan, Randhir Gollen, and Dharampal Gonder withdrew their support to the Nayab Singh Saini-led government in the state, citing that they had decided to extend support to the Congress during the polls in the state.
