Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri has criticised the Congress-led Karnataka government for increasing fuel prices. Puri highlighted that the state's decision has burdened residents with an additional Rs 3 per litre for petrol and diesel.

Punjab Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Sibin C has announced a new initiative to boost voter turnout in the state. On Monday, he revealed that Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will receive an incentive of Rs 5,000 if they achieve a voter turnout increase of 10 percent or more compared to the 2019 elections. Notably, the Minister revealed plans for six dedicated country pavilions representing Canada, Germany, Netherlands, Russia, UK, and USA, amplifying the event's international stature.

Puri, the minister for petroleum and natural gas as well as housing and urban affairs, said India is aware of its commitments towards sustainability goals and will meet all the targets in time while meeting the requirements of a growing economy.
