In Gujarat's Lok Sabha elections, BJP won 25 out of 26 seats, but its vote share dropped to 61.86%. Congress and AAP, part of the INDIA bloc, garnered a combined 33.93%. Congress won one seat, halting BJP's clean sweep.

With the Lok Sabha seat in Surat declared uncontested, all eyes are now on the 25 out of 26 seats in Gujarat where voting is scheduled for May 7.

Before the Lok Sabha elections in Gujarat, the BJP secured victory in the Surat seat even before the voting commenced. Mukesh Dalal of the BJP was declared the winner unopposed, as the Election Officer canceled the nomination form of Congress candidate Nilesh Kumbhani for the Surat Lok Sabha seat.
