Artificial intelligence (AI) prophets and newsmongers are forecasting the end of the generative AI hype, with talk of an impending catastrophic “model collapse”. But how realistic are these predictions? And what is model collapse anyway?

According to a statement issued by the institute, the collaboration aims to establish a robust framework for joint research, fostering the creation of intellectual property in cutting-edge technology solutions and promoting academic collaboration. 

Information Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has emphasized the importance of ensuring that AI models are trained without racial or other biases, indicating a growing awareness within the government regarding the ethical implications of AI technology.
