Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, the new Union Minister of Culture and Tourism, took charge on Tuesday, emphasising India's soft power and cultural richness. He highlighted the significant strides made under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, shaping India's global image positively over the last decade.

Shekhawat, addressing reporters, pledged to work diligently as part of Modi’s team, striving to fulfill all promises and meet the country’s expectations and aspirations. He conveyed his appreciation for the continued trust and opportunity given to him by the Prime Minister.

After exercising his franchise, Minister Shekhawat reached the booth counter near the school and was seen making voters’ slips at a polling booth in Rajasthan’s Jodhpur.

Polling has commenced for 13 Lok Sabha seats and one Assembly constituency in Rajasthan, marking the final phase of voting in the state.
