Shortly after taking his oath as Prime Minister, Modi embarked on this crucial trip, where he also engaged with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and French President Emmanuel Macron.

During an address at the Outreach session of the G7 summit in Italy's Apulia region, Modi stressed on the need to end monopolies in technology. He stressed that technology should be harnessed creatively to build a more inclusive society.

The G7 Summit will take place at the Borgo Egnazia resort, Italy, from June 13 through June 15, 2024.
