Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri is set to embark on an official visit to Nepal on Sunday, as announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This visit, scheduled for August 11-12, comes at the invitation of his Nepali counterpart, Sewa Lamsal.

During his visit, Misri engaged in extensive discussions with Bhutanese leadership, including an audience with King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, meetings with Prime Minister Dasho Tshering Tobgay, and Minister of Foreign Affairs and External Trade, D N Dhungyel.
