A source close to the actor disclosed that Janhvi was admitted on Thursday after suffering from a "severe case of food poisoning."

The affected complained of symptoms ranging from weakness, fatigue, diarrhoea, fever to blood pressure fluctuations.

Two people fell ill after eating food from McDonald's in Noida Sector 18 and Theobroma bakery in Sector 104. A consumer who allegedly fell sick after consuming food from these outlets filed a complaint.

The incident occurred on Tuesday night during the ‘Harinam Saptah’, a week-long religious event, at Somthana village in Lonar taluka, Buldhana district collector Kiran Patil  had said earlier.
