The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has witnessed a remarkable surge in budgetary allocation over the past decade, marking a significant commitment by the government towards advancing health research in the country.

Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur conveyed an optimistic forecast, declaring that India is on track to achieve developed nation status well before 2047, attributing this trajectory to government initiatives and collaborative efforts across sectors, including industry.

Addressing the audience, Nirmala Sitharaman delivered a speech, underlining the significance of nurturing a prosperous future for India's youth. She articulated a vision of resilience and progress, stating, "It is our duty to provide the coming generation with a better India, a better India that offers opportunities for our youth so that they can proudly say, 'everything lies here and I feel proud to be here.'"
