To enhance the learning and teaching experience in primary schools, the Director of Elementary Education (DEE) has come up with the initiative.

"School can plan their regimen properly, how they will select children (for sports) and how they will manage their academics and sports," he added.

The survey, “Factors influencing young women’s participation in labour force and non-traditional jobs,” conducted by UNICEF’s youth platform YuWaah and U-Report, engaged over 24,000 respondents aged 18-29 across India.

In an apparent reference to the appointments made by PSCs in the Bharatiya Janata Party-ruled states in the last five years, the CM said only 4,590 appointments have been made in Madhya Pradesh, 11,535 in Maharashtra, and 8,890 in Gujarat.

The projects which will be dedicated include a permanent campus of IIT Bhilai, IIT Tirupati, IIT Jammu, IIITDM Kancheepuram; Indian Institute of Skills (IIS) — a pioneer skill training institute on advanced technologies — in Kanpur; and two campuses of Central Sanskrit University in Uttarakhand’s Devprayag and in Agartala, Tripura.

"Therefore, all the heads of government and private schools are hereby directed to constitute a committee for random/surprise checking of school bags of students in classrooms and ensure that no student is in possession of any material that may be used to harm fellow students," DoE said.

In their petitions, Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal and Singh challenged the summonses issued by a trial court in the case filed by Gujarat University.

Kejriwal assured that ongoing development work will not stop even if he is sent to jail. Delhi government will continue to work towards enriching the education and healthcare sectors.

The IB curriculum will be available from the academic year 2025-26, according to an agreement signed between the state education department officials and the representatives of the International Baccalaureate (IB) organisation.
