An Indian national arriving by train from Raxaul, Bihar, at Anand Vihar Railway Station in Delhi on March 22, 2024, was intercepted with 92 pale yellow capsules containing a white powdery substance. The consignment was intended for a recipient in Dwarka, New Delhi. A swift follow-up led to the interception of a Nigerian national arriving on a Scooty to take delivery of the narcotics in Dwarka.

In a significant anti-drug operation, the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) and Mumbai Customs jointly destroyed 31.948 kg of Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) worth a staggering Rs 265 crore.
