Interestingly, the BJP's historical performance in the SC reserved assembly segments had been relatively poor in past Assembly polls. However, their recent success in these areas has shifted the political landscape in Delhi.

The North East Delhi constituency had the highest turnout at 10.15 per cent, while New Delhi had the lowest at 7.04 per cent. No technical issues or delays were reported at any polling station. 

Campaigning has ended for the penultimate phase of the Lok Sabha elections in 58 constituencies across six states and two Union territories. Voting will take place on Saturday, marking the sixth round of the seven-phase elections.

While some political parties are campaigning on issues such as the Ram temple, corruption, unemployment, and inflation, the locals believe that the candidates should instead focus on ensuring basic amenities and addressing civic issues.
