Two whiteboards were put up at Lajpat Nagar for the people to write their messages for Kejriwal. Meanwhile, AAP Jangpura MLA Praveen Kumar said the signature campaign will be conducted in different parts of the city to show the BJP that the people of Delhi love their chief minister. 

"I have received the MHA order regarding my suspension. It's an old case and I was not given any chance to explain myself so I have nothing else to say now," said Kumar. 

In the wake of the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with a money laundering case related to an alleged liquor policy scam, the Delhi Assembly has taken a significant step.

Minister Atishi highlighted the government's  commitment to education, infrastructure, and welfare. She noted significant progress, including the construction of 11,000 new classrooms in nine years, with 21.57% of the budget allocated to education.

The Delhi High Court received assurances from Assembly authorities on Friday, clarifying that the indefinite suspension of seven BJP MLAs for disrupting Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena's address at the start of the budget session wasn't an attempt to suppress dissent within the House. The authorities assured that the privileges committee's proceedings against them would be expedited without undue delay.

This is the third motion of confidence of the Kejriwal government in the last three years. It comes amid the AAP's claims that the BJP wanted to break the party by offering money to its MLAs and toppling its government in Delhi.

"We received approval for the budget from Delhi Lt Governor yesterday. It has been sent for approval of MHA today. The approval from the MHA and the presidential assent will take at least 10-15 days. It is not possible for us to present the budget before February 25. I request that the budget session be extended till first week of March," Atishi said in the House.
