The Delhi High Court recently dismissed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) that sought action against Dalai Lama under the POCSO Act for an incident involving a child kiss controversy.

The news was confirmed by Dr. Tsetan D Sadutshang, the Dalai Lama's personal physician, and Tenzin Taklha, Secretary to His Holiness, in a concise online briefing.

A bipartisan US congressional delegation, headed by House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Michael McCaul, is currently in India this week to meet with the Dalai Lama in a show of support for Tibet.
