The derailment of the Chandigarh-Dibrugarh Express (Train no. 15904) between Motiganj and Jhilahi railway stations near Gonda in Uttar Pradesh resulted in the deaths of four people and left several injured on Thursday.

Officials from the North East Frontier Railway confirmed that the train's engine became uncoupled at around 8:30 PM, just after starting its journey.

The apprehension, announced on Tuesday by the Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) of Assam Police, identified the arrested men as Bahar Mia (30) and Rasel Mia (40).
