At a press conference held at the BJP state media centre in Ahmedabad, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh launched a scathing attack on the Congress party, accusing it of undermining democracy and indulging in corrupt practices.

"Congress's manifesto reiterates its long-standing practice of appeasement politics. Old habits die hard," Shah asserted, highlighting a particular concern regarding the Congress's stance on personal laws.

The Congress has, however, promised full statehood to Jammu and Kashmir and there is no mention of Article 370 in its manifesto.
