Addressing reporters, board president Srikant Tarai said the examination was conducted in a fair manner and the question paper was not leaked.

The detailed schedule for that will be notified at the time of publication of results of this year’s Madhyamik (Class X) exams, the statement issued by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) said.

Three candidates were disqualified for the entire examinations after they were found taking photographs of the question papers on mobile phones, discreetly brought into the centre, and circulating the images on WhatsApp minutes after the commencement of the examination on Monday, the official said.
