By leveraging the extensive Aadhaar database, the UPSC intends to cross-check the biometric details of candidates. During the online registration process, applicants will submit their fingerprints and photographs, which will be matched against the data on the exam day. This step is crucial in preventing impersonation and ensuring that only registered candidates can sit for the exams.
