Singh has urged people of Manipur to actively participate in various activities under the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, including rallies, street plays, marathons, and painting competitions.

The CM revealed that several meetings have been held in Silchar, Assam, with the assistance of MLAs and other stakeholders.

The attack, which occurred around 10:30 am along National Highway-37, left one of the security personnel in the CM's advance team injured.

In a recent announcement, Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh disclosed that a state Cabinet sub-committee had uncovered 2,480 illegal immigrants in 2023. However, this campaign was abruptly halted due to the outbreak of violence on May 3 of the same year.

During a discussion among Inner Manipur Lok Sabha candidates, Totomsana reportedly stated, "Biren should resign. If he doesn't... I want to kill him..." The remark drew criticism from organizers, who later urged Totomsana to retract his statement.
