Founder of India's largest movie production facility, Ramoji Film City, in Hyderabad and chairman of the Eenadu Group of publications and news channels, Ramoji Rao (87) passed away in the early hours of June 8 at a corporate hospital in Hyderabad.

Ramoji Rao, Chairman of the Eenadu Group, passed away early this morning, leaving an indelible void in the realm of journalism and media.

Rao, who was admitted to a hospital in Hyderabad on June 5 following respiratory problems, passed away at 4.50 am early on Saturday.
