The explosion occurred in SB Organics Private Ltd, a pharmaceutical company at Chandapur village of Hatunura Mandal, about 60 km from Hyderabad, at around 5.30 pm.

While speaking to the media in Mysuru on Saturday, Siddaramaiah accepted that it was a blast. And assured quick redressal.

Speaking to reporters, DK Shivakumar said, “It was a bomb blast with a low intensity or impact. He (man) had fixed a timer for the blast to happen after one hour.” Central Crime Branch (CCB) has taken up the investigation. FSL and bomb squad have also come to the spot.

“Deeply troubled to hear about the blast at Rameshwaram Cafe in Bengaluru. Praying for a swift recovery of all the injured in the incident. State govt should order a detailed enquiry and spare no efforts in apprehending the perpetrators,” Vijayendra posted on social media platform X.

As per the reports, a bag that had explosives blasted. The forensic team says that they were informed about a cylinder blast in the café which led to the explosion.

An officer of Hill Palace police station said that an investigation into the incident has revealed the involvement of several other officials of the temple and therefore, more arrests are expected soon.

Nine people were killed and three others seriously injured in a blast at an explosives manufacturing factory in Chakdoh in Maharashtra's Nagpur district on Sunday, police said.
