Exit polls indicate that the BJP may not achieve a third consecutive clean sweep in Rajasthan, as projections suggest the opposition INDIA bloc could secure between five to seven parliamentary seats.

After exercising his franchise, Minister Shekhawat reached the booth counter near the school and was seen making voters’ slips at a polling booth in Rajasthan’s Jodhpur.

Polling has commenced for 13 Lok Sabha seats and one Assembly constituency in Rajasthan, marking the final phase of voting in the state.

Taking a dig at the Congress, he said the result of voting on the seats held today will be that the grand old party will be wiped out. 

Home Minister Amit Shah urged voters in Jaipur to "exercise their franchise in the morning hours before the temperature rises," emphasising that "the votes given to Manju Sharma and the Lotus will ensure Narendra Modi becomes the Prime Minister again."

Speaking at an election rally in support of BJP Lok Sabha candidate Ramswaroop Koli on Sunday, Chief Minister Sharma assured the Jat community of swift action on their reservation issue.

Sharma highlighted ERCP's potential to provide potable water to a vast expanse of the state and irrigate over 2,80,000 hectares of land. Additionally, he noted the positive impact on areas including Kumher, Deeg, Nadbai, Bayana, Rupwas, and Ghana sanctuaries.

Padma Shri awardees Tilak Gitai, Shakir Ali, Ustad Ahmad, Munnashastri, along with retired IPS officer Roop Singh Meena and other dignitaries, joined the BJP.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi sharply criticised the Communist Party of India (Marxist) or CPI (M) and its affiliation with the INDIA alliance due to their manifesto pledge to eliminate nuclear weapons.

"The 2024 Lok Sabha elections are not about who will become an MP and who will not. This election is about giving new energy to the resolve for a 'Viksit Bharat'," he said.

The BJP in Rajasthan is confident of winning all 25 seats for the third time in a row, emphasizing its outreach to women, minorities, and diverse social groups. Nonetheless, the party recognises challenges in constituencies such as Churu, Jhunjhunu, and Dausa.

Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent remark on the Congress manifesto, where Modi equated it with 'Muslim League ideology.' Gehlot suggested that Modi's resorting to slogans reflects an inability to critique the Congress manifesto's substance effectively.
