Union Ministers Rajnath Singh and Bhupender Yadav have been named as central observers for selecting the Chief Minister of Odisha. Addressing the pressing issue of human-wildlife conflicts in Kerala's Wayanad District, Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Bhupender Yadav, undertook a field visit to Bandipur National Park in Karnataka and Wayanad, Kerala. Accompanied by senior officers from the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change and scientists from the Wildlife Institute of India (WII), Yadav gained firsthand insights into the challenges faced by local communities.

Bhupendra Yadav met with Musonda Mumba, the secretary-general of the convention on wetlands in Delhi on Wednesday and posted on the platform X that “With two days ahead to go for World Wetlands Day, India today increased its tally of Ramsar sites from 75 to 80”.
