The Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) president and joint-secretary general of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party, has called on India to arrest and extradite Sheikh Hasina and her sister, Sheikh Rehana, back to Bangladesh.

The nation faced an internet blackout starting last Thursday, severely restricting the flow of information. Connectivity was partially restored on Tuesday night, prioritising banks, technology firms, and media outlets.

In a recent address, Hasina, known for her strong rapport with New Delhi, condemned the BNP's stance and questioned the authenticity of their boycott of Indian goods.
