"The Phase-II AD Endo-atmospheric missile was launched from LC-III at ITR, Chandipur at 1624 hrs. The flight test fully met all the trial objectives validating complete network centric warfare weapon system consisting of Long Range Sensors, low latency communication system and MCC and Advance Interceptor missiles," it added.

The sanctioned Chinese entities are Xi’an Longde Technology Development, Tianjin Creative Source International Trade, and Granpect Co. Ltd, while the Belarusian company named is Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant.

As per the defense ministry, the test successfully achieved all trial objectives, confirming the consistent performance reliability.

While details regarding the launch are still emerging, Japan’s Coast Guard indicated that the missile may have already fallen, with the possibility of a second launch.
