CM Sarma also announced that doctors from the nearby civil hospital would provide free monthly health check-ups to the elderly residents.

Sarma, who met with the Governor in Guwahati, expressed his admiration for Bose’s actions during their conversation. He later shared a brief video of the meeting on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), where he pointed the significance of Bose's role in defending constitutional values. 

In a recent post on X, Sarma highlighted the aggressive shift towards green energy, stating that soon most of Assam's electricity and public transport needs will be powered by renewable sources.

The project, launched under the PM Matsya Sampada Yojana, aimed to combat child malnutrition by incorporating nutrient-rich small fish powder into children’s diets.

Additionally, the cabinet sanctioned the recruitment of 221 posts for third and fourth-grade staff in 11 polytechnics and two engineering colleges.

Sarma warned that the turmoil could lead to the neighboring country once again becoming a haven for insurgents, thereby increasing illegal immigration into the region.
