"Last time I had decided to quit the Congress due to anger. This time, however, we have decided with a cool head and much thought. Now, we will do politics here (in BJP) only or quit politics instead of leaving the party," Lovely told reporters at the Delhi BJP office.

The list features heavyweights like Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and Home Minister Amit Shah, along with Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari, Piyush Goyal, Hardeep Singh Puri, and Smriti Irani.

Lovely's departure from his leadership role within the Delhi Congress last week sparked speculation, with his subsequent move to the BJP highlighting deep-rooted divisions within the Capital's political landscape.

Lovely’s rebellion is symptomatic of the deep inherent fault lines prevailing within the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA).  His timing of rebellion and resignation may not be right, as he should ideally have rebelled the day two parties decided to align.

Reassures party workers that he has only given up his post as Delhi Congress chief.
