Following the visit, the Chief of Army Staff proceeded to Kargil to participate in the 25th-anniversary celebrations of Kargil Vijay Diwas. 

General Dwivedi will lead a joint security review meeting with senior officials from the Jammu and Kashmir Police and other security forces at the police headquarters in Jammu.

During his two-day tour, General Dwivedi reviewed all Corps formations under the Eastern Army Command, including the 3 Corps headquartered in Dimapur.
