Identified as Shinova, the woman seeks the court's declaration affirming her status as the biological daughter of actor-politician Ravi Kishan, allegedly born out of his relationship with Aparna Soni.

The FIR was registered late Tuesday night at the Hazratganj police station on a complaint by Ravi Kishan’s wife, Preeti Shukla.

The mother-daughter duo held a press conference in Lucknow, claiming that she would approach the court to seek legal rights for her daughter if Kishan does not accept Shenova as his daughter.
