The disposal process involved the destruction of a substantial quantity of narcotics, including 238.416 kg of methamphetamine, 67.636 kg of ganja, 1.060 kg of cocaine, 21 cannabis plants, 76 grams of charas, 546 bottles of codeine-based syrup, and 553 tablets of alprazolam.

Chief Electoral Officer, B S Jaglan said, "This is for the first time a total of seven members of the Shompen tribe exercised their voting rights. Earlier, we have given them training about EVMs and VVPATs through a trainer. It's good to see that they came out of the jungle and voted for the first time." 

Scheduled for the first phase on April 19, the election will witness 1.64 lakh male voters, 1.51 lakh female voters, and four third-gender voters exercising their franchise.
